Does too much shampoo cause hair loss?

Does using too much shampoo cause hair loss? I don't think the follicles appreciates all those chemicals trying to penetrate it. It's not what nature intended. Is simply using a water to rinse your hair and a little conditioner advised? I don't think hair needs all that shampoo everyday.Does too much shampoo cause hair loss?
Wash your hair every other day with shampoo and then use conditioner after rinsing out the shampoo. If you need to wash your hair everyday then repeat the process above. Also leave the conditioner in for a little while longer, like while you wash your body or shave. And NO shampoo can NOT cause hair loss! Good luck!Does too much shampoo cause hair loss?
No. If it did the hygene civilazation as we know it would be bald by now. Hair falls off you dont let it ';breathe'; or encourage blood flow. Like my hair is so thick I hate combing it and throw it in a bun most of time so by the end of the week it falls in hair balls. But when I comb it frequently nothing comes out. My partener had a bald spot on the back which I massaged everynight with a soft brush and the hair began growing after 2 months. So there is my theory..tested and approved
no shampooing does NOT make you lose hair.

In fact keeping your hair clean is best. That way you don't get dirt, smoke/smog, 'daily stuff' built up in your hair...and most shampoos are NOT made with chemicals. (if you want something more 'natural' go to a salon and get something to shampoo with.) Conditioner is always good for your hair, but if you don't wash it first, all you're doing is making it 'sticky' for another days dirt....
